TiVo announced the new HD XL premium DVR at the CEDIA EXPO 2008. The new TiVo HD XL comes with 1TB of storage capacity that is able to record up to 150 hours of HD content.

This 1TB DVR is THX certified for premium audio and video quality. It allows users to record two shows at the same time in HD. It supports 1080i video output.

Asus Bamboo Green Notebooks

Asus presents its Bamboo series green laptop PC. This new Bamboo series features Asus’s Super Hybrid Engine technology that can reduce power consumption and in turn extend the battery life by 35%-70%.

Asus Bamboo series ultra thin laptop is available in two versions, the 1.57kg 12.1-inch model and the 1.25kg 11.1-inch model. Both models will get a DVD SuperMulti burner, a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, an 8-in-1 card reader, and WiFi connectivity.

11.1-inch Bamboo features a Core Duo U7600 CPU, X3100 integrated graphics, and up to 120GB hard drive. 32GB SSD option is also available.

The 12.1-inch model is equipped with a Core 2 Duo T9400/P8600/P8400 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics and up to 4GB of memory. It has up to 320GB hard drive. It supports also WiMax, in addition to WiFi.

Acer Aspire One Mini Laptop

Acer is going to launch in Hong Kong in July the Aspire One mini laptop. The Aspire One is Acer’s answer to Asus’ Eee PC.

The Acer Aspire One is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of memory, 8GB of SSD for storage and Intel’s integrated GMA 850 graphic. It will support WiFi. You can also find a 5-in-1 card reader. It comes with also a SIM card slot for 3G cellular connectivity,

The Aspire One runs Linpus Linux Life and has a 8.9-inch 1024×600 CrystalBrite LCD display. The suggested price is $3,488 HKD (about $470 USD).

Dell E and E Slim Notebooks

Dell is preparing the E and E Slim mini laptop lineups. According to Engadget, Dell’s E series will come in 3 models, E Classic, E Video and E Video+. All of them are powered by Intel Diamondville processor, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, up to 16GB of storage. They will have a 8.9-inch LCD display.

E Slim series will instead come with 12.1-inch display. Both series will have support on WiFi, WiMax and Bluetooth connectivity.

Raon Digital Everun Unboxed

UMPCPortal has unboxed the Raon Digital Everun Note UMPC. The Everun Note is a netbook powered by an an AMD Turion 64×2 Dual Core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM. Users can get either a 60GB/80GB hard drive or a 12GB SSD for storage.

It comes with a 7-inch LCD display, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, Bluetooth and SD/MMC card slot. It offer QWERTY keyboard.
