Western Digital ShareSpace 4TB Storage


WD (Western Digital) announced its new ShareSpace network storage system that has four hard drive bays, which can hold up to 4TB of capacity. The 4-bay ShareSpace supports Gigabit Ethernet and RAID 0/1/5 configurations.

WD’s ShareSpace supports also Microsoft Active Directory service, and can be used as an iTunes server. Users can transfer data from their USB drives the ShareSpace easily by plugging the USB drive into the USB 2.0 port and pressing a button.

The ShareSpace supports FTP and HTTP downloads and has built-in FTP server. It has three USB 2.0 ports.

The WD ShareSpace is available in 2TB and 4TB, which are priced at $699.99 and $999.99 respectively.

Toshiba Satellite E105 Notebook


This is Toshiba’s new Satellite E105, which doesn’t look like a typical Toshiba Satellite. It comes in lighter color, and has flat edges and backlit keyboard, which made it more like a Sony VAIO and MacBook Pro.

The Toshiba Satellite E105 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, integrated Intel GMA 4500M HD video card.

T-Mobile presents the Mobile Broadband Share Dock. This Share Dock comes in two parts, an USB HSDPA modem and a WiFI sharing base. The USB HSDPA modem is for connecting to T-Mobile’s HSDPA network while the base station is for sharing the HSDPA connection using WiFi.

Sharp WX-T825 - Softbank 825SH


FarEasrTone, Taiwanese carrier, introduces in Taiwan the Sharp WX-T825 slider phone. The Sharp WX-T825 is known as the Softbank 825SH Pantone Slide in Japan and as SH8010C in China market. Though the 825SH comes in eight colors in Japan, the WX-T825 will be available in only Black, White and Champagne in Taiwan.

Asus Eee PC S101


Finally, Asus officially announces its fashionable Eee PC S101 high-end netbook. The Eee PC S101 will come in three colors, Brown, Champagne or Graphite with premium Infusion finishes and crystal-adorned hinges offerng a successful melding of fashion and functionality on a netbook.

The Asus Eee PC S101 is powered by an Intel Atom processor (probably N270 1.6GHz), 1GB of DDR2 RAM. It features Solid State Drive (SSD) for storage, a 10.2-inch LED-Backlit LCD display, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, a 4-in-1 card reader, multi-touch toucpad, and a 0.3 Megapixel webcam. Though Asus CEO did mention that the S101 would not come with Eee branding, as the press release and the picture indicated, the Eee PC branding is still here. The S101 will be available in three versions as listed below:

* 16 GB SSD, Windows XP, inclusive of an additional 16 GB SD card: USD 699
* 32 GB SSD, Linux operating system: USD 699
